Gluebox is a free platform independent notetaking and information gathering tool with a focus on project documentation and document management. It provides an easy and comfortable way to capture all your ideas, images, hyperlinks, notes, working results and binary content in a tree based information structure that is searchable and can later be exported in HTML format.
The application already includes a set of most common information types such as images files, notes, sourcecode-snippets, warnings, lists, tasks and many more. Since the application is based on Eclipse and its underlying plugin mechanism, additional data types can be created by your own and attached on demand.
Data access and storage is implemented on top of the Content Repository Standard for Java (JSR 170). By default a single user connector for Apache Jackrabbit is included in the application, but any other compliant repository implementations are possible.
